I get super giddy every time I complete another 2-page week in our life that is Project Life. I still can't believe I have stuck with this project for 9 straight weeks - I am so beyond a habit it's crazy! As per usual, I kept this week super simple and clean. Uh, sounds like a Cathy Zielske term. Wait, it is!
I have found what is easy for me works for me. It really does keep it simple and clean picking out one color-scheme embellishments and journal cards. I don't worry if the photos don't match the scheme, this just works for me. Just like on a regular 1- or 2-page scrapbooking layout I hate titles. Thus far I haven't been pleased with any weeks 'title'. If there is something that I just can't grasp about scrapbooking it is that - putting titles together.
I'm going to begin adding a 'routine' each week and try and journal the highlights of the week. By the end of the year I should have pretty much documented all of our routines.
I added the cloud photo in a two-3x4 spread and really love how that turned out. I've seen that happening everywhere on other project lifers' pages and think it rocks - especially if it's an entire page. I want to do that one week with a really awesome picture.
I really like my 3x4 card with just the amperstand. It pretty much rocks! We took alot of photos this week but they were much about the same event. I might do an insert for this (in addition to the 'a day in the life') week and highlight Jeff, John and Jarrod's day of serving and tearing down Bethlehem...they did so much work that day.
