anticipating my trip to San Antonio. Beyond excited to see and hold my newest grandson, Samuel Cole.

hoping we'll go to our favorite pizza joint in San Antonio, too. Can we? Huh? Can we?

studying 1 & 2 Peter chapter by chapter, verse by verse, with a group of ladies in a Tuesday evening Bible study. So good!

reading  and enjoying a new-to-me author, Clive Cussler and his Dirk Pitt series, Lysa Terkeurst's, UnInvited, and also, JD Robb's latest In Death book is out!!!

binging on The Gilmore Girls on Netflix. I had no idea! Seriously funny. As a fairly new avid reader and everything reading, I am intrigued by Rory Gilmore's book choices. CASTLE on DVD is still on our rotation of things to watch.

continuing my blog series 31 Days of Prayers for My Husband with prayers for my husband from his head to his feet - and everything in between. Life-changing - for me. How can that be? God is amazing!

painting the front door to our house in this color - Teal Endeavor! YES. I. AM. And, I am giddy with excitement. It will look great with the gray front steps Jeff has built and the gray front porch Jeff has BEGUN!

needing to upload an order at Persnickety Prints - again. I have tons of scrapbook pages for the Trumps and the Adkinsons, and us that need printed and the remaining photos for my new 'wall' display I'm planning.

ordering the items I will need for some homemade Christmas gifts. These will take time, so I'm starting early.

rejoicing our sons have jobs! Jarrod is working up the street at Waffle House. We love the people that work there as we visit regularly and know many of them; so we're excited Jarrod is being giving the chance. And John is working at the local Carmike Cinemas.

thankful we only had some wind and roof damage from Tropical Storm Hermine; zero flooding and only flashes of power outage.

loving the cooler (relatively speaking) and dryer air after Tropical Storm Hermine passed us by and high pressure settled in. Loving my color-organized books. Loving my in-depth study of the book of 1 & 2 Peter. Loving all the walking I've been doing. Loving that small group is back in session.
