Soo, not technically ALL about me because Jeff was very much present and accounted for and in fact my little brother was present as well.
But, it's my story, so I'm sticking these pages into my all about me album. No worries.
I'm a trip advisor junkie prior to and during any trip we take.
Because, seriously, I'm hunting down seriously good food. Because, seriously - again, it's all about the food. Am I right?
You're darn tootin' I'm right!
We scored a winner with this breakfast in San Marco in Jacksonville at the Maple Street Biscuit Company.
We had two breakfasts while we were in Jacksonville, recently, to eat, and we knew one would be The Metro Diner, at the original store on San Marco.
I found Maple Street on Trip Advisor. We were meeting my brother for breakfast and I assumed he'd been but was pleasantly surprised that he had not, so we were all trying something new.
Firstly, the food. Oh. My. Goodness! A-mazing!
Even today I can taste the soft flaky biscuit, deep fried moist chicken breast with a tangy, creamy fried goat cheese slice smothered in habanero hot pepper jelly enough for every bite goodness on my tongue. I dream about it.
While I don't think Jeff dreams about their gravy, though. Because dreaming about food is probably a gal thing. But, the gravy was delicious, too.
Besides catching up with my brother, Rich - and the food, of course, the best thing about the Maple Street Biscuit Company?
They're coming to Savannah!!!!!
As we are Saturday morning breakfast go-ers, we are obviously ecstatic to have another breakfast nook to frequent and add to our rotation of restaurants.
