I have a slew of pages I've made recently so I will slowly be adding them here to the blog.
This first one is a simple, cutesy story of a text conversation Jeff and I had recently that had started in our early morning short back and forth, while he was in the shower and I was finishing up getting ready for work.
Jeff texted me [on] this morning and said, "Guess you'll have to work today." I sent him an emoji with a confused look. He replies, "There's clouds in the sky." I replied back, "Yes, I'm carrying cirrus in my weather observation." I was still confused - for another minute.
Then, I remembered. [Lightbulb comes on]
Earlier that morning I had shared that I had done zero work for the past two days at work. Every hour the skies were clear. And, since I am a weather observer, clear skies means there is nothing to report, therefore, no work. I simply have to ensure the computer generated weather observation is transmitted and on time. Thankfully, days like these are few and far between. I much prefer weather, and staying busy.
Digitally, I used a big photo as my 'background' and added a brushes, 'chipboard', - and the story. Simple page. Big impact! Small story. Small part of my whole story.
