In the Storm

USS Alabama

While the boys and I visited Ash in Biloxi, we took a day to head into Mobile Alabama for some shopping. All the boys (except Wyatt because he is breast feeding) went to the USS Alabama in Mobile Bay. Brad took some awesome pictures!!! And I scrapped them.

I made an A in business law. I have an A so far in my third class too.

Wyatt

My grandbaby Wyatt at one week old. I was there. He is precious in my sight.

Bones

I need to do some catching up and telling some stories. Here is one story that even today makes me smile.

 

This is Ian. He's my grandbaby. I think I'll nickname him Bones. Just for smiles. When the boys and I went to Mississippi to visit my daughter, son-in-law, Ian, and Ian's new brother, Wyatt my daughter go us hooked on Bones. The television show, Bones. Ian loves the beginning music to the show. He dances and moves to the groove of the music, doin' a pelvic thrust. Whatever he is doing, when the music comes on he stops what he's doing, dances to the music and then goes about his business when the show comes on. Ian provided us with many laughing sessions for which I am thankful - and blessed. Jarrod has continued those sessions now that we are home. Ash lent us the second and third season of Bones so every show Jarrod mimics his nephew Ian, getting down on his knees in front of the couch moving his body to the music. He looks just like Ian doing it. And I can't help but laugh. The last night we were at Ash's Ian was laying on Brad's chest with his legs wrapped around Brad's side and his head on Brad's chest. Bones came on. Still lying on Brad, Ian began moving to the music. And had us roaring!

Another class complete.

Business Law done. Check. I just turned in my last paper for this class. After one a week (paper that is) it's been a busy six weeks. But a good class. On to Operational Leadership (I think it's called). And in the mist, I've started a part time job, struggle to keep a house clean, cram scrapping into my time, seek out new life forms and boldly go where no man has gone before. Oh, wait, that is John and Jarrod's new fab television: Star Trek Next Generation and the old Star Trek movies.

stop drinking coffee by mid morning and switch to diet coke.
