John and Jarrod have worked hard the last couple of months to earn their Boy Scout Tenderfoot rank and two merit badges, swimming and riflemen. They have put work, above and beyond into the requirements. Jeff is adamant that when it comes time for them to take a leadership role in Boy Scouts, and have to teach that they are going to know what they are talking about. They aren't cramming for these badges and then dumping what they've crammed in. They are learning it. I am so proud of not only John and Jarrod but Jeff.
I think Boy Scouts have given them such an amazing bond, and skills that are being honed and what they'll be able to use for life. Very cool!
With each rank the boys earn I am given a 'proud parent' pin to match that rank. I get to wear two ribbons, one for each. Doubly blessed!
