Sometimes losing can be a good thing. For instance, I stepped on the scale at the gym yesterday, at 7:30 pm, fully clothed (in jeans) and I had lost another pound from Tuesday when I weighed at the doctor's (in which I had lost 5 pounds from my previous doctor visit a couple weeks ago). You might think 6 pounds total - big deal. But for someone who has had some health issues that I'm finally seeing the light (which may be part of the culprit for some of the weight gain I've had in the last months) those 6 pounds are gold to me.
Because of what I weigh I have to be realistic in my expectations. I mean, I have so much to lose. But these lost pounds have certainly given me a feeling of wow, ok, I can do this.
