over on becky's blog she challenged her readers to journaling 'i' statements used as prompts to capture our here and now, or even to capture something about us. i thought i'd take that challenge. i've done similar with currents here. but i thought these sound like fun.
i was...skinny once
i am...fearfully, and wonderfully made
i think...we are going to go see the hunger games tonight on our date
i wonder...when we will have wood flooring put in our home
i wish...i had a large back deck and a large front porch
i save...memories
i always...seem to start strong and hit a wall
i can't imagine...seeing jesus face to face
i believe...i am right where i am supposed to be
i promise...i really do love homeschooling the boys
i love...strawberry freezer jam
i scrap...mostly digital now
and then i asked the boys the same prompts:
from jarrod:
i was...a boy without glasses once
i am...a LEGO freak
i think...mom has too much scrapbooking stuff
i wonder...when we will go on another field trip with mom
i wish...i had all the LEGOS in the world
i save...money for Ecuodor
i always...write left handed
i can't imagine...zombies
i believe...jesus saved my life
i promise...i will try to behave myself
i love...J & J jam (a.k.a. freezer jam)
from john:
i was...a cub scout now i'm a boy scout
i am...14 years old
i think...about LEGO design
i wonder...what i'm going to be when i grow up
i wish...i was rich
i save...thoughts
i always...get LEGOs for gifts
i can't imagine...becoming a baby sitter
i believe...in the one true God
i promise...to follow Him
i love...my parents
just from these prompts i can see such a difference in my twins. very interesting to see the way their minds work. this was kinda' fun.
