i love project life. the templates for project life make it super easy to insert a journal card here, a decorative card there, a photo here, a photo there and the scrapbooking community has embrassed this way to record our memories with a fervor. online digital stores are busting at the seams with a plethora of project life journal spots, embellishments, tags, papers, templates, etc.
project life can be as simple as you want it: photos + journalers for your words, or you can embellish pages. and still, cost-wise, digital project life costs less. but it too can get super expensive if one were to keep buying all the latest and greatest journal/embellishment cards. because i'm tellin' you, there are some creative people out there and they create some awesome project life adornments.
but, then there is me and i just cannot afford everything i want. so what's a girl to do?
i make my own. using the ever-amazing liz as inspiration i created a couple 4x6 project life cards to use in my project life pages that i create weekly (and post on monday-tuesday).
i love liz's wood grain adornments and her kraft and lace (doilees) so i mimicked what i love in these 4x6 cards. the 'love' 3x4 card was totally by accident. i was playing in pse, planning on doing something else and the heart happened not the way i planned but it ended up being better than i imagined - and i love it. hoping i can re-create what i did because i've got other ideas in mind.
but here's my latest cards. i'm planning on using one or more of these in my next project life pages:
i'm very pleased with each of these project life cards.
