Week 12 of Project Life is done! And I adore this project. I am capturing our life each week. Some weeks are very similar in that we have our routines, and sometimes we have neato stuff that fills our lives. Either route is good for documenting - life.
Have you seen the latest Project Life Digitals? Midnight Edition is in the house! From it's revealing months ago I have loved this set - almost as much as the Seafoam Edition. I knew I would use it again and again for my Project Life album. Especially, since I know, even now, that 2014, and 2015, and 2016, etc. will be Project Life years. I am also sure that they will be digital Project Life albums. I am more creative digitally than I ever was, am, traditionally.
So this weeks theme was white, black, and splashes of red. I used a former technique of labeling my photos with a title and short journal piece. Lots of pictures, lots of journaling! All very, very good stuff!
My favorite techniques this week: 1) Journaling right on the photo (I digitally added the text to the photo along with it's title and mini journal strip). 2) Writing diagonally on a journal spot using the papers lines as my guide. On the left side page (above), on the diagonal striped paper, I added red-ink journaling using those diagonal stripes as my guide. Love this! The red pops out! It was this journal spot that gave me my first pop of red that I then mimicked throughout the pages. 3) Adding routines. I decided last week to begin adding a routine into the pages. I love that I'm keeping a record of these bits of our life.
