I had to print some things the other day so I was in our studio office on the desk top computer. I, then, wanted to purchase some keto friendly items from Amazon. While I was visiting Amazon I noticed Prime ads for The Closer. I love that show and hadn't watched it in years. Almost finished with the 8th Season of Blue Bloods on Netflix, I was planning on looking for another show to binge watch so I decided to watch a little Closer while I was in the studio office.
Then, I watched another episode. And, another.
While I was watching screen my eye, then, caught on to the turquoise binder in the credenza. The binder is filled with pages and pages of magazine pages, and printed ideas of scrapbook layouts. As I was browsing through the pages, I culled out those layouts that weren't my style anymore. Then, I culled out the pages I thought I would challenge myself to scraplift over the next month or so.
Which brings me to this page: I need.
One of the pages I saved came from an Ali Edwards' article from an old Creating Keepsakes magazine, circa 2007. Her original page was a traditional 12 x 12 scrapbook page using a 2 x 2 punch and lots of stamps. As a digital only scrapbooker I figured I could duplicate the page digitally, or simply be inspired by the 'idea' behind 'I need' as a story prompt and make a page completely different.
Once I got down to creating a page digitally, I simply scraplifted the entire page - yet making it my own. I absolutely love how it turned out. I used a plethora of digital stamps and brushes from multiple designers including, but not limited to, Ali Edwards, Paislee Press, Little Lamm & Co, Sahlin Designs, and One Little Bird, all of which I regularly purchase digital product from.
I am pretty darn pleased with the results.
