Once or twice a month I spend a little bit of time updating my food journal that I began in August, recording many of the meals I have enjoyed whether out to eat or eating in, food I have made myself, or enjoyed by the hands of others. I was inspired by another scrapbooker, Shannan from Australia, a lady who scraps minimalist, clean and simple, and MY favorite way to scrap, too, who is recording the food she is eating and making a photo book.
I loved the idea and began putting together an easy template - or two - using a digital template by Ali Edwards as the basics for the album, although I have modified it quite a bit. Adding in digital stamps, and the occasional digital chipboard - keeping it very clean, super simple. My intention with clean and simple is that I will be able to maintain the groove of putting the album together, and not giving up on it.
Below is the first two pages of the album. You might notice a slightly different arrangement on those pages. My plan is to switch back and forth between the two sets of pages for the entire album. Basically, two pages will hold a 'month's' worth of foodie photos. I don't take photos of every meal I eat, mostly, just when I think about it and of course if it's a date night meal or breakfast - or new recipe.
