I have acquired over these past years a plethora of Halloween costume photos of my grand children. Elizabeth is faithful at celebrating Halloween, buying costumes for the kids, making gingerbread houses, carving pumpkins, and taking the kids trick or treat. Ashley does the same for her boys.
While growing up the kids did dress up in costumes we weren't in to Halloween. But, I thought this would be a darling way to gather all those photos of all my grandchildren's costumes in one place, and, thus, a place to make a home for all the photos of Halloween costumes in years to come.
For this album I am keeping it super simple, using an Ali Edwards 3x8 album and completing the album, digitally, of course. I don't have a lot of 'Halloween' -type digital product but I have picked up a kit or two, and Ali Edwards' monthly digital kits for October have enough chipboard, journal cards, and stamps that I should be able to fill the album, easily.
Above is the cover, or front page of my album. The little 'costumes' chipboard highlights what I'm going for in the album.
I'm not really creating pages in chronological order. They will, however, be added to the album that way.
As you can see some pages will be 1-page, and others 2-page. This may mean I will be able to include some spooky and fun 'filler' pages.
One thing I have enjoyed: traveling back in time as I've gathered all the photos into one place.
