I recently made a change to my recipe books. I had ‘brilliantly’ used 2 - 6 x 12 albums from We R Memory Keepers in my signature turquoise color. However, those albums just didn’t fit well on my recipe book shelf in my kitchen, plus over the years of well-use they were quite battered and torn. I decided I needed to change things up. This time around I went with two 6 x 8 albums - in turquoise, of course, using the two-up 4 x 6 document protectors. Then, I purged our recipes. If I knew I wouldn’t make a recipe again, into the trash it went (I still have the recipe on file should I ever change my mind). Then, I did a bit of organizing, moving our favorite recipes, and most frequently used recipes to the front. In truth, many of those recipes are there for - say - the boys, if they ever needed to cook, because I pretty much know the recipes by heart, especially if I prepare that dish often. I absolutely love the smaller size, so much easier to handle, and they fit easily on my recipe book shelf.
After using them occasionally since their creation I can honestly say, "What took me so long?"
