In October my plan is to leisurely go through all of my online classes by Ali Edwards that I have accumulated over the years and re-take them, using them as inspiration for pages. While I created this page in September for my 30 Pages in 30 Days self-imposed challenge it is pages like this (which is a total scraplift of Ali's) that I will be creating in October.
For this one I gathered some older photos of Ian and John from way back in 2011 to tell my story.
Because Ashley is 10 years older than John, she had a head- start on raising a family, so John is still a teenager when Ian is an older toddler, and most of the time is still interested in playing with his nephew.
I want to remember how Ian was playing up to me taking pictures, keeping an eye on me to make sure I was still watching him play. While we wouldn't usually allow rough-housing in a store (it was Maurice's and they have a large dressing room area and there were few people in the store) Ian's play with John was reserved and you were stepping out of your loner self which is always welcomed. At this age it was rare to even capture a good picture of Ian. You'd always make silly faces. I love that I caught such cuteness. Forever grateful and totally love that while you aren't one to 'play' with the big boys, you will, albeit reluctantly, and find out, even for just a little while that you had a blast. We can go to the stores and you aren't forever asking for things, you are watchful and observant and rarely whine. It makes visiting malls and such, easy.
