Grocery prices have sky-rocketed over this past year even as gas prices have dropped. I am so thankful we are afforded the opportunity to shop at a military commissary where prices are much more reasonable than on the economy. Because I retired from the Air Force over 12 years ago we are able to shop at these commissaries and still so very thankful.

Always so much fun...unless we can't find the very movie we want to watch...then we have to pick another one...and I'm thankful we have a ton of movies to pick from.

I am still in catch up mode. I just might complete the album before the end of the year although the gratitude to God and thankfulness for His goodness is never ending, still amazing, still providing.

Today, I wanted to be thankful simply for my Pumpkin Spice coffee creamer. It really is simple things in life that we so often forget to be thankful for. It really is such a joy to put Pumpkin Spice coffee creamer in my coffee during the fall and winter months.

Who would have thought we could find such joy from ocean foam. But, with the winds blowing 25-30 knots out at Tybee, the foam on the beach was being picked up by the wind and rolled or moved quite quickly. More times than we could count our shoes were foam-bombed, or scared us (read: me) as the foam was carried rapidly by. Such a hoot!

After months and months of shortness of breath and laboured breathing, of not being able to take a shower without the struggle to breath, now after 3 units of blood, it was wonderful being able to walk a mile and a half without any difficulty - except being out of shape because I haven't been able to move. Such a wonderful blessing!

John and Jarrod participated in the Veteran's Day parade this past Veteran's Day and Jarrod stood strong in front as guide-on, flag bearer. They march for all veteran's.

I'm still trying to catch up my 30 Days of Thankful, along with Project Life, along with 52 Gratitudes, oh my!

Lately, with the wishy, washy, up and down temperatures around here, the colors of fall have been popping up and covering our view painting a glorious picture, even as I just drive down our street. Beautiful!
