around here: outside fun - warrior games with a friend; a break from homeschool, in the middle of the day for a game of clue; new 40 recipes in a bowl...recipe; new book read in a day and a half - so good!; family, in the evening watching old seasons of NCIS (we just finished stargate atlantis); start of a new bible study (the second half of ezekiel - a precepts study); bag packed for return to co-op fridays; boys getting ready to walk each morning - and i swam 1300 yards.

around here we rang in the new year with a snack spread of homemade salsa and chips, jalapeno poppers, and sausage balls. watched season 1 of justified. completely spaced watching the ball drop on new years rockin' eve. and the boys enjoyed sparkling red grape juice all evening

around here i'm eating greek salads using panera breads greek salad dressing recipe (recipe coming soon to a blog near you)

around here the boys and i have been playing lots of games like yahtzee, scrabble, and sorry.

around here the boys are easing back into homeschool by getting a bit of headstart on next weeks work.

around here hoosier man has been sick with the flu but he's back at work.

projects waiting to be started...lovin' new technology (at least to me) that allows me easy upload of all my photos; pumpkin spice coffee creamer - oh so yummy and definitely the season for it...new way to schedule the boys' homeschooling assignments that is working great...reading out loud an american classic for literature, johnny tremain...christmas presents...bedroom decorations...physical science woes...marching in a veteran's day parade in honor of veterans.
